Betty Fisher

Betty Ann Fisher, age 76, of Greenville, passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at her home in the loving care of her husband. Betty was born on March 28, 1935 in Tyler, Texas. After high school, she attended business school where she learned the trade of book keeping. On June 5, 1970 Betty married Jimmy Crew Joe Fisher in Durant, Oklahoma. Together they spent the next 40 years creating a lifetime of memories that will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Those who knew Betty will remember her for her strong will and love of animals but her biggest joys in life came from her beloved husband Joe and the rest of her loving family. Betty attended the Higher Trails Cowboy Church in Merit. Betty is survived by her husband Joe of Greenville, one son, David Ayers of Dallas, and by two grandchildren, Daniel and DeAnn Ayers of Dallas. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Peters Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Byrd officiating.
