Ben Earl Smith

Ben Earl Smith, born on November 27, 1947, passed away on June 6, 2026, in Greenville. He lived a full life and touched many with his kindness and stories.

He enjoyed watching WWE and western movies during his free time. His passion also extended to sports; he was a big fan of the New York Giants and the Yankees. Ben was a history buff, especially fascinated by West Point, which revealed his love for learning and admiration for history.

He spoke proudly of having two amazing sons, a reflection of the importance family held in his heart.

Ben is survived by his wife Patricia Smith; his children, sons Benjamin Smith, Jason Smith, and Ben Earl Smith Jr.; and his daughters Yvonne Quick and Regina Koutsikos. They will carry forward his memories and the legacy of his warmth and dedication.
