Avice Pulliam

Avice Pulliam, 87, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 in Greenville, Texas. Avice was born on October 24, 1926 to Cecil and Beulah Clayton in Bellview, New Mexico. Avice met and later married Howard Pulliam on March 30, 1944 in Portales, New Mexico. Avice is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Beulah Clayton; her beloved husband, Howard; brother, Alvin Clayton and one granddaughter, Dawnita Ragsdale. Those left to celebrate her life include her daughters, Camillia Brandt and husband Terry; Rowanna Wright and her husband Harol; son Stanley Pulliam and wife JoAnn; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Clayton and his wife Peggy; sisters, Alice Hatley and her husband Joe; Anita Simmons and her husband Ray; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A private family service will be held Monday December 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Peters Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, Texas.
